What does it mean when an
employer calls you out of the blue and says they want to talk with you about a position, when you never applied with them? She said she heard about me and wanted to talk to me...Is that good? Does it mean I can basically ask for what I want?

5. No it's not him, he could care less
he's a RW creep and complains when people can't pay their bill and ask for a way to make it less expensive. He says if the job they have now isn't paying the bills they should look for something else, I told him, I'd have to start looking then because what he pays isn't adequate and I don't see a raise happening...Haven't started looking, but this women told me she'd pay me more and give me insurance...

4. Ask them where they got your name
so you can find out if it's a blind call or if someone you know suggested you.

8. Go for it...
Referrals from friends is actually one way that employers like to find employees... it helps ensure that the person is at least as responsible and worthwhile as the employee who made the recommendation.

I'd take the interview, and if it's remotely good, take the job if offered. Sounds like you need to get out of where you are, and to find a job that offers insurance is pretty rare these days!

Good luck!
