One thing I love about Texas: Frozen daiquiris brought to your car |
|
Well, I don't know if it's technically a daiquiri. It's some sort of frozen concotion with alcohol, kind of like a drunken Slurpee. They come in 32 flavors, one of which is called the Pink Panty-Dropper. I'm partial to the Blue Hawaiian, however.
They're wrapped in this cheesy saran wrap so it's not techinically an open container when you drive off with it.
Very tasty and cheap. :9

You can get a margarita flavor, but I doubt it has real tequila in it. |
|
They're from the Eskimo Hut in San Marcos, but last weekend, we saw that they had one in Beaumont too. :D

they bring alcoholic beverages right to your car...and you drive off with an alcoholic Slurpee? It just doesn't compute in my brain...that said, I wouldn't mind having one right around the corner from me especially on a humid night like tonight

4. Yeah, that's pretty much what it is. |
|
You drive up, they come out, take your order and then bring you an alcoholic drink wrapped in a flimsy plastic bag. :D

7. We have drive-through daiquiri places in Louisiana |
|
We get styrofoam cups with lids on them that have the opening for the straw on the lid "securely sealed" with a piece of scotch tape. Oh...and they hand you the straw with the drink. Just drive up to the window and drive off with a margarita! (with the tape securely in place over the opening for the straw, of course!):)

|
I like to mix a chocolate cow with a white russian, it taste like a milk shake, but it's definitely time to park the car for the night once you drink one.

Photoshop is my friend :) I taught myself how to use it when I took up photography as a hobby to work with my pictures, but I get way more use out of it making t-shirts and bumper stickers to piss off the local wing-nuts! My sigline is my latest bumper sticker.

Hwy. 80 in Longview, TX. Same basic scenerio as the daiquiris, except they served beer. Anyway, I'll tell you about how that all came about some other time. :D
