The creators of Survivor have tossed an ex-pro footballer into the mix for the 11th edition of the hit CBS reality series.

Gary Hogeboom, the one-time Dallas Cowboys quarterback, is one of 16 new contestants vying for a $1 million payoff in Survivor: Guatemala, where players are pitted against each other amid ancient Mayan ruins in the jungles of Central America.

2. Why did they even bother?

Anyone perceived as a strong threat is voted off right away. Another thing that will work against him, if he was an NFL QB the others will decide he doesn't need the million bucks and he's outta there. The only thing that might let him last a liitle while would be his leadership and organizational skills.

8. OKay, I pick on reality tv because so many of the reality shows suck, but

I can't wait for the new season of Survivor. I'm waiting to see who is gonna win HOH on Big Brother 6 now. I hope Jordis wins the INXS thing too. Those 3 and Fear Factor (occasionally) are the only ones I watch.
