I smoked since the age of 13. Gave it up for 8 years. Smoked for another decade or two. Then in my late 50's, I gave it up P E R M A N E N T L Y. Try the patch plus a smoke-enders self-help group. If that fails, try the M.D. and prescription medication!

Go for it. And good luck. It's an insidious addictive habit perpetrated by huge corporate conglomerates. Don't let them kill you.
