What...no SNL thread?
I can understand though. I quit watching after Weekend Update. I don't blame the host, Andy Roddick, he's actually a pretty good performer-but the writing is particularly sucky tonite.

11. Well, I thought Dave & WU were the only good parts of the show...
... but I'm a Dave fan, and seeing him, Trey and Tim Reynolds together geeked me out a bit. That and the two digs on Chimpy during Weekend Update:

"During a recent speech, President Bush urged Middle East countries to modernize, saying 'Modernization is not the same as Westernization.' Then, mentally exhausted, he collapsed into a chair."

And "CBS has canceled its miniseries on the life of Ronald Reagan after the Republican National Committee protested what it called 'historical inaccuracies.' The RNC also objected to the network's unflattering portrayal of George W. Bush, until they realized it was just a live press conference."

3. Tonight was one of the worst ever
The whole second half was dull and pointless. The show is rarely any good or worth watching. But tonight was abysmal. I hope it is canceled soon.

7. Agreed.
The Hall & Oats thing should have been way better. Very few laughs tonight.

5. I think we are in another rotten time on SNL..Sucking up to Bush, not good
Just like when Balushi left and When Carvy, Hatman, and Myers left we are in for some rough seasons of SNL..Time for a change.

8. SNL has run its course
It hasn't been original in years. Same old sandbox humor. Might be alright for 10 year olds but not for me.

10. I think that they are done
They have lost their core audience because they are a right wing propaganda machine now and they are done.

Put a fork in them they should leave the air.

The original one. Watching it after seeing the newest one... The first was the best.

That's why I didn't see SNL.

14. Yeah, last night's was particularly drab
Only good part was when 1992 Agassi found out about Present Agassi being married to Steffi Graf. And the President Streisand bit. That Merv the Perv thing was painful to watch. What were they thinking?

15. SNL has won the flying fickle finger of fate award, 7 years in a row.
Though it started to lose its spark in 1992...

:D
