stuffed cabbage and mashed potatos......

We go to a little town called Black Creek and Wagner's Farm Market every year in late September or early October for our personal "Harvest Fest". We buy a 10-15 pound cabbage and make at least three dozen stuffed cabbages out of it and freeze some for the winter. With what's left over, we make fried cabbage and noodles. The cabbage from that area is so tender and sweet that it melts in your mouth.

We also pick up a big cauliflower and make creamed cauliflower soup (with about 1 pound of real Wisconsin Cheddar cheese melted into it )nd save that for Winter too.

I'm already salivating thinking of "Harvest Fest".
