Do you still celebrate your birthday?
Does it make you beam whenever people remember it? Do you love to get birthday cards and presents and eat birthday cake? I'll be 43 in two weeks, and I don't think I'll ever stop celebrating!

2. I turn mine into a weeklong festival
It's near a holiday so I simply refer to it as my "birthday week". :)

3. Yes....
I start out a couple of days before trying to tell myself I'm too old. (mid 40's)

Then Mommy calls and offers to tak me out to dinner. Hubby brings home a card, gift, flowers, what have you.

My local insurance agent sends a card begging me to come back, even though we were canclled for no good reason during their last file purge.

Birthdays give me the warm fuzzies.

4. Mine usually falls on Thanksgiving week
Perfect excuse for a bender, expecially since we don't really celebrate Thanksgiving at our house. :)

5. happy early birthday!
mine's in four days-- my 36th. However, it hasn't really been celebrated at my house, because my wedding anniversary was the next day (would've been nine years this year-- which was at least six too many! :silly: )

This year I may do something...but I don't know what. maybe hire a clown to make balloon animals, or hire a pony for pony rides, or maybe a bunch of male strippers for my hetero female and gay male friends. Decisions, decisions...

9. I celebrate Bert Blyleven's birthday
which is a day before mine.

Twins fans who are able to get the local broadcasts of the games will get the reference. Bert Blyleven makes a big production out of his birthday, and mentions how many days until his birthday on just about every broadcast.

12. I think I have a special feeling for birthdays
Because my dad was the "Birthday Man of El Dorado." His hobby was remembering people's birthdays; he knew more than 7,000 (including baseball players, as baseball was his other love). If he hadn't seen you in 40 years he'd still remember your birthday and greet you with it. I can do it too, but I don't know anywhere near 7,000!

15. Absolutely! I love celebrating birthdays!
To me, it's just another reason to let people know how much I love them!

And yes, I still celebrate mine....it also sometimes lands on Thanksgiving, which is wonderful....

Just stick a candle in my pumpkin pie, and I'm happy!

Cards, presents, cake: IT'S ALL GOOD!

 :toast: :toast:

21. I've never been big into birthdays...
I mean, cake, cards, presents, etc. are all nice, but it doesn't really make a difference. I'm usually happy with a friendly "Happy birthday!"

I like to do stuff for my friends' birthdays though. Coincidentally, I'm working on a birthday present for a friend right now.
