What should I name my dog?
I am getting her tomorrow through a local animal adoption program.

I want something unique and yet cute (Blwuvtienmank would certainly be unique, but not cute)

I was thinking 'Jenny', as in Gemini. But I'm still not sure. Molly, the name the site gave her, sounds kind of good as well.

Here she is, from the site:

14. Thank you. I originally was going to adopt another dog, but while
he was still in their care, he bit two people. When I met him and pet him, he didn't seem like he had it in him.

That kind of dog needs the care and expertise I can't provide.

Although, they said it was while they were trying to neuter him. I can see why any dog would get defensive. . .

3. What a sweetheart!
Both names are cute. When we adopted our kitty Morrissey, the HART people had named him "Bode," which we didn't like. What about "Gemini?"

Many years of happiness with your new puppy!

25. Thank you. Gemini was my first idea,
but both sound good to me. She'd easily fit 'Jenny' or 'Mollie'.

The last time a basketball player was named Shazam, it was Shaq in that hellspawn movie about a genie.

Ugh. . .I think I'm going to be sick.

But you can call her Molly. She is a gorgeous dog and she looks very happy. Is she a collie lab mix?

35. The other breed has to do with her coloring and ears
My spouse and I have 2 Aussies at home. They are sisters from a litter of 2 Aussies. There are bi-colors, but not like that. Often the lighter Aussies are merles (with spots) or the bi-colors are b/w.

The sweet doggie's ears don't look Aussie either. Aussies ears flop, but still not as rounded.

I presume Molly or whatever her name will be has a nice disposition. :-)

38. Ha! Yeah, that should save you some trouble.
She reminds me of a cross between a dog a used to have and one of my current cats. But the cat just has similar coloring:

He's a Romeo, though. I'm sure he'd try to be her boyfriend despite the spaying and species thing!

I agree, she could definitely be a Molly, but if you want to acknowledge her Aussie antecedents, howzabout Sheila. As in "now there's a pretty Sheila, Bruce."
