What does a grown man look like at......
5'10'' and 145 lbs? At 160 you would painfully thin, but 145?

He responded to my profile on one of the personal sites

1. I like tall and lanky, so to me...
he wouldn't look bad at all at that weight. I dated a guy who was 6' and 145lbs, and looked great.

2. If he's anything like my friend, pretty good.
Of course, my friend is a hard core runner and only has 3% body fat.

4. .....BUT, BUT....I have
probably 30% body fat. No woman wants a man that is that much thinner than she is! 35 years ago my x-hubby could get into the 'baby swing' but I couldn't!

3. 160 isn't painfully thin on a 5'10" frame
A lot depends on the person... and if he seems interesting, why not meet him and find out for yourself? :)

11. Hrm... might not be great, but
One of the smartest geeks I know uses AOL, only because she has had the address forever and has moved more than a dozen times since she got it, back before things like hotmail were common. Now, if he's using AOL as his browser, that's a whole 'nother story ;)

13. I have a 20 year friendship
and he uses AOL because he used to be a tennis mod and got AOL free, and wouldn't change. I spend the $22/monthly to NOT be on AOL>

12. I'd have to concur -
I'm 5'9", 160#, male, (and 37 years old :scared:). I'm in pretty good shape, but I definitely also sport love handles and I can pinch an inch or two as well.

As the OP feels that 160 is "painfully thin" on a 5'10" frame, I couldn't help but wonder whether the OP herself might have Issues of Mass ...? :hide:

5. My husband is 5'9, 120 pounds
He eats everything in sight, just never gains weight. He had a bazillion medical tests when he was in his late teens and early twenties. All they could figure was that he has one hell of a metabolism.

My son is 11, stands at 4'8, and weighs all of 60 pounds. The doctor isn't worried, she's seen his father.

8. Pretty skinny but not emaciated or anything.
My father weighed 145 at 6'2" when he got married. He didn't look all that bad.
