Sorry, man, to ruin your night, but, yeah it's not going to be much of a party.
Does he have his own room or is he living with his girlfriend/boyfriend in their room? If they're in the same room, charge the S.O. rent. Don't let them split the cost of a single room. That's total bullshit. The Boyfriend will use the common rooms, kitchen, etc. If it's a three bedroom, a fair split would be 30%, 30%, and 40% for couple if they live in the same room. It's only fair. And don't forget to split the Utilities 4 ways now.
