Got to love peoples ingenuity |

I love playing the game "SIMS 2", on another website someone made a dart board for the game with Shrubs picture on it. What a great new addition to the game! Of course some people over there are crying foul.

That's awesome. When I was playing Sims, I downloaded this tool to make your own paintings with the pictures you have on your computer, also any images you make in Paint. Fun stuff! Haven't found a tool like that for Sims 2 yet!

3. I have played Sims 2 also... |

When "Sims 2 University" came out, Greekspeak just HAD to have it. Then, the program started deleting the drivers for our CD-RW and DVD-RW drives. His laptop is currently in the shop to have a new drive installed because of the stupid game!

4. A new drive because of the game? |
|
Couldn't you have just formatted? A game shouldn't fuck up the drive physically.

5. Well, it completely got rid of the drivers or SOMETHING... |
|
The CD drive totally disappeared from "My Computer" and the BIOS. We even know exactly the instant it happened during game play. I called HP on two occasions and we tried everything to get it back with no luck. So, in it went. We should be getting it back soon too!

6. That's really weird... |

I can understand the drivers being wiped out, but the BIOS not recognizing the drive is really bizarre.

7. Yep...and that's why it went back to HP |

The techs had NO clue. The reason we know it was Sims 2 is it did the same thing to this desktop. Luckily, the Device Manager showed the drives having a conflict, so deleting both of them (CD-RW and DVD-RW) then restarting, brought them both back to life. No such luck on the laptop.
