1. I don't know what a laser mouse is, |
|
but my laptop internal mouse went absolutely nuts and you have to disable it and use an external mouse. I don't know if that's your problem though.
I'll ask my husband when he gets back from the store. He fixes computers for a living.

My husband gave it to me when he had to disable my laptop internal. How long have you been using it? I'll ask my husband when he gets back what could be going wrong with yours.

We had one of my techs mouse go nuts, hurcky jurcky. Called my Pirate brother who is a big time computer geek and he told me, quote," Clean is the dream girl. Replace your pad, open up the bottom and clean out the insides with win dex on a q-tip, if it's a light one, look for the red light on the mouse and the computer and CLEAN it." It help Tammy's I hope it helps yours.

8. Is your keyboard wireless? |
|
I had a problem with the cursor going nuts periodically and thought it was my mouse but it turned out to be the keyboard. The cord had wound itself so tightly that it had partially disconnected itself. Thought I had some terrible virus; turned out I just needed to replace the keyboard. Of course, if yours is wireless, it's less likely to be the problem.
