1. I have a Harley Sportster. I love it.

I bought it some presents today, too.

Leather tank "bra", luggage rack for the rear fender, and risers for the handlebars.

4. Don't they look uncomfortable?

I like my Sporty because everything that looks like it's chrome or metal on it, actually is.

Some of the other "cruiser" brands use plastic parts, made to look like metal or chrome.

Very disappointing.

I'd love to take a BMW for a ride sometime though.

12. a Biiiiiiiiiiggggggg Harley

pulled up at the park across from my house this morning....It was all balck and chrome so I had to go over and talk to the owner. he was wearing the obligatory black harley tee and jeans. He had a black baseball cap, big sunglasses and a full grey beard and mustache.

Turns out I knew him years ago. He a Viet Nam Vet and he just got back from Sturgis. It was about an 800 mile ride and he did it in a day and a half. You'd never know the bike went on a 1600 mile trip though. The chrome was like a mirror. It was a couple sizes up from a sportster...he gave me the model number ....it wasn't a name, it was a number and I've forgotten it already (okay, okay okay..memory is the second thing to go and I can't remember the first....)

I complimented him on his bike and wished him well.
