1. Hey, I'm watching my DVDs of Trailer Park Boys
Do you think that accurately represents culture in NB?

Also, how did moose hunting days go this year?

3. lol... yeah, I know.
I have this friend from school (I go to U of Toronto) who is some budding male opera singer from NB, and even he knew all the words to the "moose hunting song". I was quite surprised coming from such a sophisticated man such as himself.

7. I don't know what the song is, in its entirety.
It was on some tv show about the NB moose hunt. I think the refrain was "Got to get me moose!!!"

That's all I know.

17. It's pretty representative of rural eastern Canada I think
I've been living here long enough, I think I'm a good authority on it. It's exaggerated, obviously, but I know a few Rickys and J-Rocs.

Shit, man, I can't believe your'e there... I went to NBCC there...what is it like now... is the riverside still there?

Know the grey apartment just across from woodstock, newer building to the south I think? Three stories, by those shitty houses? I live in the third story, south end.

21. dood, i always feel comfy with my NB homey!
but also because any freeper/fundy's in NB have already committed suicide waiting for the rapture. the most i have to fear up here, is some yuppie bastards from maine with W04 stickers. at this point, i could hold a zippo to my lips, and incinerate them.

naw, K didn't go to NBCC until 2004 -

so how's things at the radio station? i got out of the tv business, couldn't stand living my life 30 minutes at a time.

22. It's complicated
I thought radio was my calling, which it is. However. I get wind of all these stories and I usually end up freelancing them. So I think my true calling is investigative investigative journalism. This last week on radio though, I kicked ass, all over BC was I.

The girl who writes for the Bugle, Jen...Fuck I forget her last name... I went to J-school with her... everyone thought she was a tool.

12. I love New Brunswick. I love moose. I love Crown Royal. I love this thread
I also love when, "le Acadie" from Louisiana go back to NB for family reunions, they feel strangely "back at home", even though Louisiana and NB couldn't be more different...

Did I mention I love this Crown Royal???
