What CD Did You Buy For ONE GREAT Song... But Discovered The Rest Sucked?
That's why "greatest hits" CD's are always safe bets with me. Sometimes there is ONLY one good song.

The one CD that comes to mind from my collection is the album "Extreme II: Pornograffitti" --- the only song that I liked on that one was "More Than Words".

2. Red Hot Chili Peppers
I forget the name, but, I loved the song and then was appalled at the rest of the cd.

3. Madeleine Peyroux
Careless Love .... "Dance me to the end of love" is a groovy ditty, but the rest of the cd is ... blech.

And she was less than average live at Bonnaroo, too,

I think her 15 minutes will go by quickly.

4. Southern Accents
by Tom Petty. Everything but Don't Come Around Here No More is so rooted in 1985.

6. Iron Butterfly, "In-a-Gadda-da-Vida"
I believe it has been scientifically demonstrated that no one who ever bought this album can recall the name of any song on it except the title track.

7. Buckcherry.
I thought "Lit Up" was a great stripped down Rock N Roll song so I bought the album and the rest of it turned out to be a bunch of third rate Black Crowes type shit. They are never going to have a greatest hits album.
