What kind of mpg does it get compared to petrodiesel? Same, less, more, etc.? I was told it gets more, then someone else told me it gets less. <sigh>

2. Varies by +/- 5-10% or so. |

About the same, slightly less, or slightly more, depending on the engine and the type of oil (soy, sunflower, peanut, etc). Oh, and diesel engines were originally designed to run on vegetable oils.

I've read stuff online where people say they've gotten 150 mpg from biodiesel, and that seemed a bit too good to be true...
