On Saturday, President Bush went on a bike ride. According to news reports, his schedule also included "a nap, some fishing, and some reading."1
1. "Bush defends ignoring protest," Cox News Service, August 14, 2005
Pray tell, who would have thought our fearless leader had it in him to actually READ?
So the question of interest becomes,
WHAT WAS HIS READING MATERIAL?
My guess: That he finally got around to finishing "MY Pet Goat" after he was so rudely interrupted.
Any other guesses?

That don show one iota of evidence he reads.
When asked...a long time ago re reading...he responded by saying he reads the bible...that was so LAME...then he says, Jesus is his fave philosopher, another Lame answer...
That man don't hunt much less read. The Pubs chose an Ignorant Person to lead this Nation...
we pay a steep price....just like many other historical Nations...

The work of Dr. Seuss.
I'm half serious. I like Dr. Suess. At one point in my life I noted that the last five books I had read were.
Plato's Republic Dostoevsky's The Brothers Karamazov Al Franken's Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot a work on Chaos Theory the author of which I cannot remember, and
Dr. Seuss' One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish
(I'm kind of kidding, but I'm kind of telling the truth.)

3. "The Fart Book"? I understand it's the only book at the family estate... |
|
...in Kennebunkport. Maybe his mother and her beautiful mind loaned him the family heirloom copy?

4. What's your problem with Reading? |
|
It's a town just down the road from me (sort of). But I have to admit that it has a great many problems - and is generally to be avoided.

9. Reading, Berkshire (in U.K.) |
|
Where Oscar Wilde was imprisoned - and wrote the Ballad of Reading Gaol (though that's far from the only thing bad about Reading).
