Do you have a "AAA" card?
If we all pitched in and let Maddy use our cards wouldn't that be a better way of getting her car home?

2. I have AAA plus that gives you 100 miles of free towing
BUT, you have to be with the vehicle in order for it to be valid. AAA won't allow you to donate services to a third party unless you happen to also be riding in that vehicle.

Sorry. Good try, though.

4. Yes, it's an excellent resource
And then on top you sometimes get better airfare, car rental, and hotel and hotel rates!

5. You'd have to show the tow driver the card.
Plus, the card only works for someone who's IN the car. It's a nice idea though.

8. "You get five tows a year"
No questions asked about who owns the car. I called AAA for a niece that was broken down three states over from me and they towed her car.

7. Oh Gawds - don't let it expire! If you do, within the week, you will need
it. It's in the by-laws. Trust me.

10. "Thats called the "AAA" curse"
I thought about getting rid of AAA one time so I didn't pay the bill. Sure enough I broke down after it had expired. The girl renewed my card over the phone and I paid for another two years and the tow was free.

9. "Ask Maddy if her insurance company will pay for a tow?"
I had tow insurance along with my plan and I never used it. She probably has it and doesn't know it.

With AAA when you break down x amount of miles from home they allow you to cash a check and ??? I can't remember all of the benefits but I would never drive without it.
