Man..FDR did it all!
I thought this little fact was interesting.

Did you know that the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland was created based off a sketch done by Franklin Roosevelt while he was president?







Pretty cool fact. :D

1. Hope everybody saw the Branagh FDR biopic on HBO
that covered the years when polio laid him low and he fought his way back...

The March of Dimes (which eventually produced the polio vaccine) was his doing...

4. Yep, FDR's last erection we used to call it...
and the envelope he drew it on used to be in a frame right inside the front door.

BTW, the tower design was horrible for a hospital. Not enough elevators and the floors could not expand at all.

It was high enough for Forrestal to try to fly from, and fail however.
