This is not a threat. It is a PROMISE.
I am going to get in my car, drive to Rooms To Go in Grapevine, Texas and personally track down the person or persons responsible for placing strips of thin, crappy masking tape in huge "Xs" on the glass panels of our china hutch. I will tie this person or persons to the hood of my car and drive them back to my home, where they will be forced to clean every speck of tape residue off the hutch while I administer 50 lashes a minute with the finest quality leather whip I can find. Then I will throw a heavily concentrated saline solution into the wounds and laugh at their screams of agony. When they are finished, I will pour battery acid over their faces and kick their sorry asses back to the warehouse.

Am I being a tad harsh?

1. Yes. Often times when that happens to me...
I find myself screaming, "Not the face, not the face!"

3. You sound pissed off....
I'm just glad I wasn't the one who placed the masking tape on that glass!

They just didn't want the glass to break...Try a little Goo Gone...

:scared:

4. I am using Goo Gone
But it takes a TREMENDOUS amount of scraping with a putty knife, too. SIGH. I shouldn't complain - it's not like I don't have pressing things to do now!

5. I'm glad you have that stuff....it really works....
But yes, you should complain!

If you hadn't, then I wouldn't know how upset you are, and I would not be able to be here, trying to help you...

I hope that what I'm saying (and I mean it, BTW) is helping at least a little bit...

C'mere...here's a big hug for you! :grouphug:

7. Not as such
The acetone didn't work, huh? Did you ever manage to get rid of the foam block?

As for the last part of the promise, try oil of vitriol (aka concentrated sulfuric acid). It worked very well in countless cheap French horror flicks.
