HELP! I need Curriculum Vitae help!!!

I'm applying for a "distance education" masters program in music education with Boston University. The application guidelines say they want a CV, when all I've ever had is a resume. How the hell am I supposed to construct this thing? All the examples and guides I've see are all talking about research, publications, and so on. I've never done any of that. I've taught at a bunch of schools, taken some classes, and belong to the usual professional groups music teachers belong to. The application lists these four bullet points:

-Relevant professional skills
-Education
-Relevant work experiences
-Participation in seminars, workshops and conferences

Sounds like my resume to me. What should I do?

It's the name we use in academics. Focus more on education.

Musical director duties include teaching music to cast members and coordinating rehearsals and orchestral accompaniment. Other duties include coordinating music for Chapel, holiday, and other special programs, as well as acting as a faculty advisor.

Professional Musical Director and piano accompanist
Musical director for productions by West Chester University and Village Productions. Accompany musical theater productions, both solo and with groups, as well as a wide variety of choral groups. Duties have included musical direction and vocal part instruction. Other accompanying activities include acting as a substitute church organist.

Long-term substitute
Instructed third, seventh and eighth grade general music classes and fourth through eighth grade band. Course work included introductory recorder work, melodic and harmonic studies and music history. Band duties included instructing beginner and advanced bands, as well as small group lessons.

Owen J. Roberts Middle School
Long-term substitute
Instructed seventh and eighth grade general music classes and sixth, seventh and eighth grade choir. Course work included studies of 15th through 20th century music, emphasizing stylistic elements and Orff-oriented rhythmic study. Choir duties included instructing four choirs of varying ability levels in both group rehearsals and sectional work.


February 2000 to June 2000
Strath Haven Middle School
Long-term substitute
Instructed seventh and eighth grade general music classes. Course work included a keyboard component, consisting of independent composition, sequencing, and music theory; and a guitar component consisting of both single note and chordal work, as well as a study of the blues. Other duties included choral accompanist and after-school supervisory duties as needed.

August 1997 to February 2000
Downingtown Senior High School
Part-time Assistant Band Director/Music Theory/
Choir Teacher/Faculty Mentor
Instructed several sections of music theory, incorporating guided listening, ear training, and composition. Assistant band director position duties included instruction of nationally recognized 200+ member marching band and two concert bands as well as after-school jazz band. Choir position included instruction of female concert choir, with an emphasis on sight-reading. Other duties included substituting for orchestra and various choirs. Chosen as faculty mentor for senior graduation projects, which included additional meetings with student advisees and faculty.
