DUers on the Do Not Call list... |
|
I'm getting a ton of telemarketing calls on my new number and it's driving me crazy. So, I'm asking those of you who are on the Do Not Call list to let me know how you like it. Do you still get calls? What are the drawbacks? Should I get on it? Or not get on it? Thanks!

I have not had one telemarketer since I can remember. I eat dinner in peace.

2. There ARE no drawbacks |
|
You will still hear from charities and political groups. They are exempted from the DNC registry.

No drawbacks that I can think of. The only ones I get are from the DNC and DCCC.

4. Do it. I've gotten maybe one call; I responded by telling them |

I was on the Don't Call list, and the guy apologized profusely with a degree of shock and vowed to strike us from the list he was working from.
It was almost amusing, really!

6. I've been very happy with it... |

The only calls I've received have been from survey companies, and they're pretty easy to get rid of.

The only calls you'll have to put up with are charities, surveys, political calls, and calls from firms you've done business with in the last 18 months.
There are NO drawbacks...none.

That was easy. Hopefully I don't lose my mind in the 30 days it takes to go into effect. Thanks DUers! I love you all! :loveya:
