Especially since the legal mumbo-jumbo just got sorted out for a Captain America film. They will, more than likely, vehemently defend their character's intellectual property rights right now.

5. Scary, disgusting, and ironic.

Comic books usually have a liberal slant if they're political at all, and Captain America of all people is no exception. Anyone read the recent story arc in Avengers, "Red Zone?" It's about the secretary of defense, Dell Rusk, and his use of American funds to develop bioterror weapons, and to use the United States itself and its 'war on terror' to further his own agenda.

I won't give the rest away, but it's a good read. :-)
