You know, I'd take a pay cut if it would ensure getting Mr. Smithers |
|
as my secretary.
The guy is so amazingly efficient, and able to bend the law, AND is, in all senses and regards, the ultimate secretary - does the personal stuff as well as the business stuff, is 100% loyal and dedicated, has an absolutely amazing memory, truly and utterly knows what is going on at all times, and has the perfect secretary attitude: 1) whatever the boss wants, that what the boss gets, and 2) he knows it's his duty to ensure that the boss never has to worry about niggling details.
Smithers is the model of the secretary I tried to be when I was one. Of course, he's superhuman, so I never measured up, but he was my model and inspiration.
