Poll question: Which of the senses could you most do without?
If you had to sacrifice one of the five senses, which would it be? I could do without taste; if I had no sense of taste, I could eat all the nasty foods that are good for me and get myself into better shape. I'd hate to give up the sight of my husband, cats and the beauty of life in general (what there is left of it), the smells of my husband, cats, pumpkin pie spice, honeysuckle, etc. etc., the touch of my husband, cats, velvet, etc. etc. and the sound of my husband, cats, music, wind chimes, etc. etc.

2. As one of the olfactory impaired already...
I'd have to say smell.

3. That is hard. I am glad I don't have to
do without any of them. I guess it would be smell or taste. Probably smell.

4. I can do without hearing.
I lost a little high-and-low-pitch hearing when I was younger (chronic ear infections), and my hearing's not great overall. I'm supposedly at a higher risk than the general population of losing more hearing as I get older. So, I'm sort of resigned to it anyway.

I'm too much of a foodie to give up taste/smell, and I rely too heavily on touch and sight.

6. No, I have to disagree...
A lot of Democrats have no Common Sense. Republicans, on the other hand, have no Sense of Shame.

Hey, Goober! Let's knock these down while we're at it!!

9. Touch - by a process of elimination
Sight would mean that I can't read anymore.

Hearing would mean that I can't listen to music.

Smell and taste would ruin all enjoyment of food.

10. Definitely not sound!
I'm a big music fan. I'll go with taste. It's the only one that might not seriously impede your life.
