hello...

thank you all, and you know who you are that contributed a little piece of me and my family in your thoughts as you rummaged about in your own daily lives. the magnitude of the overwhelming embracement for me and my family for a healthy and =) happy future both here on du and in our families community has been supportive and i am having a "record breaking comeback" ... thank you.

note: hedgetrimmer was diagnosed with a brain tumor 3 weeks and 1 day ago, 12 days ago hedgetrimmer had brain surgery... (the tumor was benign, it was in the cerebelum, the tumor's name... hemangioblastoma) tonight hedgetrimmer posts on DU, brain tumor gone!

i did not have cancer, i had a benign brain tumor called hemangioblastoma... it has to with the arterial system, growing from an artery and being fed by the artery, there was a tumor about the size of an adult thumb (top portion) and a connecting cyst about the size of a squash ball (slightly larger than a golf ball)... the tumor had been there most of my life (tumor had been there for about 20 years, i am 32) and my brain's growth had conpensated for it... over time the tumor affected my personality ( my ability to stay calm slowly began to lesson and turning into anger more and more often, common symptoms)and some balance and articulation problems and yes pain (in my neck, stiff.)

i am happy, very happy. thank you
