Can wisdom teeth cause tonsil problems? |
|
I think my older boy has tonsillitis. His temperature's about 100, and his tonsils are swollen, though not terribly red. He's been complaining of a sore throat the last few days.
He smokes :( and was playing Death Metal rock star the other day, apparently...so it's possible that he injured his vocal cords and the fever is related to his wisdom teeth, which are coming out next Wednesday.
Your thoughts are appreciated... :hi:

1. Call your dentist /oral surgeon |
|
There may be concerns about operating on a patient with an active or recent infection.
s/he may also want to see him earlier to evaluate the situation, put him on antibiotics, etc,
