Do you ever watch shows and try to figure people's politics?
A couple of times I've watched Inked or that show where the guys are airbrushing the art on cars, trucks, etc. I don't know why, but for some reason I always wonder what these guy's political affiliations are...

Anyone else do this? If so, what show or person makes you wonder?

2. You're right. I have to stop doing this to myself.
It's totally self defeating.

I guess I just feel so betrayed, when I find out that people that are artists have the audacity to buy into the Gop's ideals---just gross!

:hi:

6. Not exactly
I frequent a couple of Law and Order boards, and we often post interviews with the stars. Fred Dalton Thompson said he came on board to forward the GOP agenda, and, imho, ruined the show.

7. So he took the job to help their politics?
I agree with you, that would ruin the show.

I am not a regular viewer of Law and Order, but do watch the L&O, SVU and sometimes Criminal Intent. How long did it take that guy to destroy the show?

10. All the time!
I think I've gotten so good now that I can point out a Republican from a Democrat. Seriously. It's more advanced than my Gaydar.

...the only one I can't figure out is Dr. Phil. My gut says Conservative Bush supporter. Although his views are moderate and he could possibly be a conservative or moderate Democrat. He certainly falls somewhere in the middle. Although I am CERTAIN he voted for Bush!

He also hated Howard Dean. I saw him say something disparagingly about Dean on Letterman.

11. He's such a jerk--I can't believe he was bad mouthing Dean!
:grr:

I'm with you on his vote though, definite Bush supporter.

I'm still trying to figure out those guys on the chopper shows. They do such beautiful airbrush art work--yet at the same time it seems the subculture of those guys tends to be rather conservative--but I could be wrong.

:(
