I just know lip gloss has to cause cancer! |
|
Me and my wife have been arguing over her use of "lip gloss" with so many chemical ingredients that I cannot even pernounce. I can't find any resources on the web to help me prove my suspitions...anyone know of any??? Currently I'm trying to get her to try some natural products but they are hard to come by!

8. hmmm....i don't think they would list "petroleum" straight up.... |
|
on the ingredients list. Couldn't be a good selling technique, plus I think the ingredients are only listed on the cardboard package not the "tube", so I can't check exactly what is in the stuff anymore.

7. have her google mineral makeup or natural makeup |
|
There are quite a few small companies that offer (mostly) natural lipgloss. The companies I've ordered from have exceptional service.

9. Everything Gives You Cancer |
|
So sayeth Joe Jackson. Seriously, the statistics indicate that everyone will get cancer if they live long enough. For some people, that might require 300 years old or more. But eventually, the mutations will occur.
That's why i don't sweat this as much as some do. Sort of a fatalistic view, i know. The Professor

11. Everything Is An Individual Choice |
|
I'm not encouraging anyone to do anything they think unhealthy. But, sometimes i worry about the mental health implications of the fear that some people have over the consequences of modern life.
Despite all we know about cancer, and how often if occurs, people in the industrialized world live longer than at any time in human history. The fear seems unwarranted given the data.
But, fear isn't rational, and if people are afraid, there is nothing anyone can do. The Professor
