Sniff! The "Tomorrow" Song in Annie Was Sung to FDR
(Yeah-yeah, I'm as hopelessly ignorant as Shrub. That said, ...)

AMC was running the "Annie" movie. All I knew from it was the "Tomorrow" song. So I let it go on for background wallpaper. When the song came around, imagine my pleasant, emotional surprise to see that song being sung to FDR! I had never heard of the actor, Edward HERRMANN. In trying to find a pic of him as the Annie FDR, there was one page calling him a Libertarian because he was in an anti-IRS movie. I dunno, but it was a touching moment, that song and FDR. (This pic of HERRMANN-FDR is not from Annie, it's from "Franklin and Eleanor" or somesuch.)

TOMORROW

ANNIE

The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar
That tomorrow
There'll be sun!

Just thinkin' about
Tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs,
And the sorrow
'Til there's none!

When I'm stuck a day
That's gray,
And lonely,
I just stick out my chin
And Grin,
And Say,
Oh!

The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
So ya gotta hang on
'Til tomorrow
Come what may
Tomorrow! Tomorrow!
I love ya Tomorrow!
You're always
A day
A way!

2. Probably the Disney Factory Makes Different Movies Now
but I purposely avoided anything Disney most of my life.

3. I'm Surprised the Wingnuts Haven't Raised Hades
the way they made CBS buckle under for "The RAYGUNS".

LOL to "FDR" 's line, "Why are Republicans so ostentatious?"
