Suburban people are just so rude....
I live out here, in the very bosom of suburbia, and going to the grocery store is an exercise in what not to do when living amongst people....

People cutting in, kids runing wild, kids scating in a crowded store, people just leaving carts where ever....

And the way they treat the help.......

My god, and these are the people who vote for repulicans because the culture has gotten so bad.....

I'm hyst saying.....

3. Yes, I've noticed that the people in the cities are so polite...
And would never cut in front of you at the supermarket or the subway or anywhere!

4. That's not it...
I hate the burbs because they're usually f'n faux-communities built around shopping malls. Because they're devoid of any world culture and require cars to get anywhere of use. Because they don't label their damn streets like sane people in society do. Cookie cutter houses and people who want to be isolated from the "big bad city"...hate the burbs, HATE 'EM!

8. It's not that.....
It's just a collection of people who have acquired a certain amount of things that seems to denote, at least in their minds, that they are somehow better, and worth more, deserve more....

Of course there are people like that in the city, they are everywhere,

But in Suburbia, they seem to have clustered all together in one area, a critical mass, if you will, that makes for a rude, non smiling, self centered bunch of folks.....

Maybe with their own kind, in their little tribal area, I mean housing development, they are different....

And I know this happens a lot around where I live....

Because I treat the people who are there working to make my life easier exactly as I would want to be treated, that old christian thing, and they are always telling me what a relief it is to have someone come in who cares enough to talk with them.....

5. is it any wonder?
modern surburbs hafta be the absolute most cruel and perverse living arrangement ever devised. there's nothing in common, many don't even have side walks FCOL. you hafta drive to the market, but your property isn'y large enough for a garden that'll do more than give ya some home grown tomatoes - if the CCRs will even allow you to have a garden. and everyone has been condotioned to believe that they're living the dream because now they're in hock up to their ass for 30 years, living in a box that's an hour one way from where they work. add to that the pressure that their kids need private tutors just to stay even with the jones'. it's a mess. i've never understood the attraction of the suburbs.
