Cheapo picture frames?
This seems like something some DUer might have a lead on.

I need to get like 35 8-1/2" by 11" frames on the cheap to display a bunch of kids' art, for Mrs. Robb's work. Anyone like someone online for this kind of stuff?

1. Check your local flea market
There's usually someone there who does framing. Or the dollar store.

3. Can you get away with "framing" them with mats alone?
A mat has got to be cheaper than a frame, and they come in lots of colors. I would think mats would look decent for a bulletin board or school wall (are these school projects?).

4. You're probably in luck since 8.5 x 11" is a standard frame size.

I'll bet the dollar store could help you out.

5. Search "picture frames" on YAHOO.
I have purchased inexpensive frames on the internet through a YAHOO search.

7. Where I get my frames
http://www.frameusa.com/ Not as cheap as the dollar store by a long shot, but great prices on frames actually manufactured in the US! A lot of artists use them.
