5. Hey, that's cool...absolutely cool.
For whatever it's worth, my three favorite Santana albums are Welcome, Lotus, and Moonflower.

I was EXTREMELY pissed off that "Supernatural" was called Santana's "comeback" album.

Rule of thumb: if you never went away you cannot come back.

Former Columbia, Former Arista, current Columbia label exec Clive Davis "called in favors" to get airplay for "Supernatural." It was a sham, it was a bogus comeback. The music may have had its merits (and some say it did not), but it DID NOT get airplay because it was GREAT MUSIC...it got airplay because Clive Davis made some phone calls and called in some favors.

I'm a Santana fan, that's why I posted this poll.

6. I saw Santana a couple of times in concert - they opened for either
the Stones or the Who or both in the early 80's - Carlos is H-O-T!

8. I just saw "Band of Gypsys" on cable TV...
...and if the ONLY thing Buddy Miles EVER did was contribute to Jim's "Machine Gun," that ALONE would qualify him for the R&R Hall of Fame.

...But you're right, this was a KILLER album.

9. It's the only Santana album that I own
I heard it first way back in the day and when I found out that it was reissued in CD, I jumped on that puppy like a midnight train to Georgia.

Still sounds like the BOMB after all these years.
