You might not ever get rich
But let me tell ya it's better than diggin' a ditch
There ain't no tellin' who you might meet
A movie star or maybe even an Indian chief

(Workin')
At the car wash
Workin' at the car wash, girl
Come on y'all and sing it with me
(Car wash)
Sing it with the feelin' ya'all
(Car wash, girl)

Why did they make it sound so damned pleasant? I worked at a car wash when I was seventeen. It fucking SUCKED, although I did meet the people with the weed. You ever want some weed, go where the poor fuckers work. They can getcha the ganja.

1. I'll tell you why they can!
I knew a guy. Sent his car through the car wash, when it came out the other end, his well-hidden (he thought) stash was missing. He was plenty mad, but who could he complain to?

That's why these guys have all the goods, they're good at knowing where the stash is hid!

2. LOL
Hey! Who stole my POT?!? LOL!

Actually, it was when I was working as a land surveyor that I found lots of pot. And I mean LOTS. We'd find some almost every week. And some of us would score it, either on the spot or, if it was too big to carry, we'd come back later in our personal vehicles. I remember trying to stuff huge plants into the trunk of my father's '83 Corolla. I raided so many patches it wasn't funny anymore. All I can say is, I was 19. I wouldn't do that today. I have more respect. But it was funnier than hell at the time.

And my crew chief was a dealer, so we were smoking joints every half hour all day long. What a bunch of incorrigible potheads we were. We'd go through more pot in a week than I could smoke in a year nowadays. I'd spend about a hundred dollars a week on pot and think nothing of it. Pretty embarrassing to recollect. I was a big dumbass.
