My Grandfather gave me his Vetrans of Foreign Wars calender |
|
it's a pretty cool calender, tells you anniverseries of famous battles and how to fly your flag on any given date.
This calender says that the 25th of Sept. is the Gold Star Mother's Day. Is this the same Gold Star that Cindy is?

1. Yes, Cindy is a Gold Star Mother due to the loss of her son in war. |

However, the day on the calendar pertains to the original Gold Star Mothers organization first organized during World War One. www.goldstarmoms.com
Cindy Sheehan is head of a break-away organization called Gold Star Families For Peace. Their reasoning is: obviously it is not just the mothers who suffer from a loss of a child in war; it's their families and their neighbors and friends. www.gsfp.org
Trust this helps.

3. Hang on to it, it may be valuable some day. |

Maybe, just maybe, some time in the future there may be no more wars and this will be a real collector's item.
