Why did Pamela Anderson get a 'roast' on Comedy Central?

I thought these were all Friars Club roasts--primarily for members? Or is she a member?

Sorry--I'm a bit confused... Or did Kimmel and the others just want an excuse to tell a bunch of blonde and boob jokes?
