5. Can you believe it?
It's a yearly thing; I've had it since I broke up w/ my Ex a number of years ago. It always happens in the summer and lasts about 10 days, so I should be alright..

6. wow, she must've done a number on you
I heard of a broken heart, but never the gout, lol.

Travis is in the cab now, saying crazy shit to Charles Pallantine, haha. Messed up. :)

Every summer. That is odd. Did the doctors every tell you why or what?

7. Change of weather
Themps, mostly; it affected my diet, I guess. She did a number alright, but she also did me a favor; by breaking up w/ me, it allowed me to meet my soulmate in Mrs. E...

8. the Garofalo like Mrs. E.
Talk about good fucking luck huh? :) Other than the gout that's a helluva trade off. Hell, even with the gout.

Women, I think I've given up on most of them. Damn it, if they weren't so gorgeous and I wasn't so weak and easy, I could just go on my merry way and be a loner for ever. :)

9. You'll get your soulmate, bro
I have no doubts about that. Just hid your love of WWE Wrestling and you'll be in like flynn:)

Mrs. E is my everything; I don't know what I'd do without her. And coming from a confirmed loner like me, that's a statement I thought I'd never make..

11. She's sitting right next to you isn't she?
:)

No, really, I may have to hide the pro wrestling thing. I don't know a woman who hasn't looked at me like I was nuts when I mentioned it. They always curl their nose up in that cute disdainful way woman do and say:" You do know that it's not real, right?" LOL As if I were a child and they were ready to tell me Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny don't exist, haha. Oh, and try to explain that you know it isn't real but it's entertaining etc, and you are risking never getting laid ever again in your life. Best to close the deal before you bring that shit in on it. Then it just becomes part of your "charm."

Yeah, I get the impression you were a lot like I am when you were my age. I've gotten rather anti-social. I've always been eccentric. I like my space and I like being heavily involved in my interests. As a wrestler, I would lift and run or something, rather than chase girls with all my friends. Or I'd often want to just chill out at home, read a book or work on a poem or something, instead of going out and ripping it up with the boys. I did my share of that, don't get me wrong, but often I just did my own loner-type things.

15. She's in bed
Edited on Fri Aug-19-05 03:58 AM by enigmatic
Where I'm going to be in a little bit; one of the things that hit me when I got to know her was that she was a wrestling fan, too; she could talk about it w/ me w/o faking it, and when I moved up here we slipped into watching it every week w/o missing a beat. It was like I had died and gone to heaven.

My oldest friend (like you, he's my brother)that I grew up w/ recently said to me that he never expected me to make it out of my 20's. Our circle of friends had pretty much counted on getting a phone call saying I'd kicked off somewhere in a flophouse on one of my endless roadtrips to nowhere; it was inevitable.

The life I'm living now (that we both are, really; he's a pretty well-known psychologist now)has shocked us both; it's like I got a few more lives than I deserved, really. But I'm glad I did.

20. you seem like
you've done a lot of crazy things.

Isn't it weird how much people can settle down? Several of my friends have popped some kid's out of their women and become family men in the last few years. I'm talking about the wildest, craziest group of people you can imagine. Most of us are about halfway normal nowadays, haha.

21. Speaking of wrestling
I can't wait til this comes out:

http://www.rightherepictures.com/

I've got a few WCCW matches on tape; Kerry was a helluva charimatic guy. The whole Von Erich family was just haunted; I've never seen anything like it.

I'm headed for bed, bro; I'll see you later tonight:)

2. Come in, Travis!
I come from a long way away
And I know a fine thing when I see it.
See it!
For the same reason no one ever
Pointed a telescope at the sun
Talking about the Red Angels of New York City

CHORUS
Who shot the shot?
Who got shot tonite?

Not even five enforcement agencies can save their own.
Never mind the people
Tonite it's raining on the Angels of the City
Did anyone prophesize these people?

Only Travis
Come in Travis
One of these days I'm gonna get myself organized.

All the animals come out at night.
Queens, fairies, dopers, junkies, sick venal.
Some day a real rain will come and wash all the scum off the streets.

Thank god for the rain to wash the trash off the sidewalk. Listen you screwheads:
Here is a man who would not take it anymore.
A man who stood up against the scum, the filth.
Now I see clearly.

Personally I know the alley
Where Jack feeds on the birds of night
Not even bubbies on bicycles 2x2
Can stop the blood and feathers flying

Waring overalls and for once and for all
What is the dream?
I'll tell it
To live like they do in the movies
San Juan you listening?

Yeah I bet you are
Hands up for Hollywood
Hooray
I hear you
Snappy on the air
Hang in their
Wall to wall
You saved the worled
What else? You saved the girl
Chmpagne on ice
No stranger to Alcatraz
To boot
Or strip it down
Chop it a little
Being reasonable
Just freedom to move
To live
For women to take a walk in the park at midnite
Hey, but this is serious
She can't even get back home

I come from a long way off
And I know a lifegiver over a lifetaker
For the same reason no-one ever pointed
A gun at a policeman
Talking about the Red Angels of New York City
Yeah

But you might be finer. You won't believe this but it's true...
I was driving to my mom's and the car in front of me had a Wetzelbill bumper sticker. I laughed so hard I damn near ran off the road.

14. I like playing it while I'm on DU
I listen to the TV and glance at some of the parts here and there. Brilliant movie. Well written, directed, brilliantly acted, shot, edited. I'd say it's a perfect film. If I could narrow my favorites down to a top 5 it would surely be on it.
