Jessica Alba to star in "I Dream Of Jeannie" remake with Jimmy Fallon
Jessica Alba makes poor decision
Friday - August 19, 2005

http://www.thesuperficial.com/archives/003305.html

The NY Post reports that a sequel to The Fantastic Four is in the works, and everybody is set to reprise their role except for Jessica Alba. Instead, she has supposedly agreed to star a movie remake of I Dream of Jeannie with Jimmy Fallon. There's a pretty obvious joke here about Jessica Alba playing an invisible woman versus Jessica Alba playing a sexy genie who wears revealing outfits, but I'm just not clever enough to make it.

1. More obvious is the joke about Fallon's invisible talent
...but I'm not clever enough to make that one either.

4. He's lucky, because she could co-star with a TURNIP...
...and a guys would line up around the block to see Jessica Alba star in that new movie with the turnip.

5. Jimmy Fallon may be the next step towards the establishment of the MAtrix
there has to be some explanation for his stardom.

But I will give him this-he is more talented than Adam Sandler.

16. That is not true.

2. wow, hollywood is so creative!
remember the South Park where Cartman was a robot that spit out plot summaries for movies, all of which starred Adam Sandler?

8. If they're not making tv shows into movies, they're remaking old movies
The only movie I've seen based on a tv show that I liked is the Brady Bunch movie. It was hilarious.

Disney is really bad on the latter score. Did they really need to remake:

1. "Freaky Friday". The original had Jodie Foster and Barbara Harris. I guess because the adults smoke in that one, it had to be remade.
2. "The Parent Trap". I love the original, with Haley Mills. I have it on video. I also love Brian Keith as the dad.
3. "101 Dalmations" as a live action movie. The cartoon was so cute.

Plus, they make all those crappy direct-to-video sequels to their popular movies, like "The Little Mermaid" and "Cinderella". And I'm still waiting to see a video of "Song of The South" at the Disney store. I saw it as a kid and would like to view it through adult eyes, as I didn't think it was racist when I saw it back then. It had great music. "Zippetedy-Doo-Dah" is a great song.

17. Ms. Eden's beauty always overshadowed her acting

she really is a very good actress and may I add she has aged very well; she is one classy lady.

From what I see of Ms. Alba, she cannot act her way out of a paper bag.

10. I think you're thinking of "Bewitched"
Which is pretty much the same show as "I Dream of Jeannie"

11. Next: the theatrical rehash of NIGHTINGALES
For those who don't know, it's one of NBC's more memorable bombs. Think ER crossed with Baywatch, then add more panty shots.

14. I smell a Razzy!
Alba is eye candy of the highest order, but did you see Fantastic Four? PU! Loved her in Sin City though

Fallon is about as talented as a driftwood. He can NOT maintain professional composure on camera at all! He constantly breaks character and fumbles his dialog. He's gotten a free ride in Hollywood through SNL.

Both in the U.S. and overseas. That's why this dung keeps getting recycled again and again. :puke:
