Janie's tirade, it should be noted, consisted of HER using all of the same insults she knew they were using against her to insult the Fiendship. That's why Janie said "Bye bye Bitches" - because Eric always said "Lights out Bitches". She called April and Beau golddiggers, because that's what they called her multiple times behind her back. She called them whores, because the Fiendship going back to Eric said that Janie was a call-girl, that she made her money giving BJ's, and that she starred in soft-core porn.

...the "Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear" rule but there were people all over the IMdB message board for BB who were aghast at the things they heard on the live feeds so I don't think they are just making it up. And yes, BB normally does not shy away from controversial material but, like I've said in other threads, this season has been edited to within an inch of its life for some reason. Beau is still mainly in the background and Jennifer didn't really come to the foreground until she won HoH. Alot of stuff is being edited out. I think it is to get people to watch The Early Show where they are apparently featuring some of the edited material every Friday in addition to interviewing evicted houseguests.

well, I guess I would have to hear the WAY she said it, but what she said is very true and not at all racist. The texture of a black woman's hair (and many white women with coarse hair) does not benefit from moisture, therefore they tend to avoid swimming and wash their as infrequently as they can get away with it. Trust me - this applies to my hair, as well.

It's not racist, it's a cultural fact. Of course, that doesn't mean black women NEVER swim - she's making a generalization, but I wouldn't say it's racist.

My wife thought she should put up Ivette and Maggie as Jen and APril don't seem to be very good at winning anything.

She picked Jennifer and Maggie. She should make it perfectly clear that she put Maggie due to Jennifer's doings this week to possibly cause some friction. What it looks like to me is she wrote down a number, quickly changed her mind, flipped the card over and wrote another answer. When she went to hold up the card she had it wrong side out, which is why the number was upside down. She was trying to hold up the new answer. When Julie told her her card was upside down, she looked at it, and flipped it back the right way to show her new answer. I don't see how that is cheating. It would only be cheating if she heard the correct answer and changed it while no one was looking.
