IOW, what for you Golfers are the BEST MOVIES you've ever SEEN about Golf...Serious and Comedy?

Thanks if any DU Golfers andDuffers (because I'm one) can give me a list of the Best.

And for you DU'ers who think Golf is just for the ELITE and are horrified that some of us can play while NOT belonging to CLUBS like the Bushies...I gotta say...Come South...you can play in NC on a guy's Golf Course for next to nothing because he "graded his field where the cows don't come..for a golf course..where one can "get the hang of it." Breverfield...Cheap and you can rent a cart."

I loved "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" but haven't seen a Golf Movie called "Hidden Phil" with that long title in it.

"Happy Gilmore," "Caddy Shack" and "Canadian Bacon," (a John Candy movie about an "unpopular President starts a campaign aginst the country's enemy...CANADA!

I'm off to view them...and thanks for the recommendations! I missed "Tin Cup" but it's on my list.

The rest of the movies I'd seen..."Bagger Vance" (Good)..so I took a pass on that one, but i'd missed the others.
