Tech people help me out here
Edited on Fri Aug-19-05 08:50 PM by proud2Blib
I want to use this as my new avatar or in my sig line. How do I reduce it to the correct size? Thanks!

1. You could open it in MS Paint
If it is saved on your computer, you can just open it in paint.

On the top, you can click on image and then stretch/skew. Then you can put 50% or whatever gets it to the size you want.

Then you can go to photobucket, and hit browse to find the newly saved version.

Could I reduce it in my iphoto program?

I don't know if I can do that or not.

5. Sig lines:
Our new sig line rules are as follows:

1. Your signature line may not exceed 400 characters. This 400-character limit includes *all* characters, including spaces and URLs for links and images.

2. You may have no more than one image (.jpg or .gif format) in your signature line at any time. This image may not exceed 500 pixels wide, 200 pixels tall, or a file size of 20 kilobytes. If you do not know if your image is in compliance, right click on it and select "Properties."

3. You may not use any HTML code in your signature line except the special message board code for: bold, italics, links, center, and line breaks. You are limited to a maximum of two line break "br" tags.

4. Your signature line must adhere to the community standards for this message board. It may not be inflammatory, highly controversial, or otherwise disruptive.

Where have I been? Why didn't I listen before when all the Mac people here told me to use Safari?

It is awesome.

9. And one way to do this on a Macintosh.
install Graphic Converter (search versiontracker.com)

File -> open (select image)

Picture -> Size -> Scale

It should be obvious from there.
