Whatever it would take to prove irrefutably to everyone in the world that there is no such thing as God.

27. it's pretty hard to prove that something doesn't exist
isn't it? I can prove that there is no beer in my refrigerator by performing a simple search, but how do you search the entire cosmos for God. It would be much harder than searching a high school for a janitor (which is difficult enough as the janitor can move to a room you have already searched). It might be more interesting to ask the opposite question - what if it was proven irrefutably that there is a God? Especially since it would take a God to transmit that information and proof to everyone.

So what would it take for God to prove to you that God exists? A dream? A message? A visit? An instant trip to Ganymede? Turning your baseball bat into a fish? What does it take to satisfy you?

32. If God WAS proven to exist tomorrow...
The religious right would all be on their knees asking for forgiveness for being such hateful jerks. After all, the only way I can explain the way that they behave and the claims that they make is that they must not really believe in God, but only know how to manipulate millions of people in God's name.

14. We'd end up forced to watch nothing but
Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson 27/7. Hardly any believers woud believe it and we'd have to hear King George constantly refusing to believe it saying it's unproven and therefore he ain't following it.

But, as I've always said before, it's so much easier to beg for forgiveness than it is to ask for persmission.

30. The Fundies would be out in full force
claiming it is a test of faith god put before us, that the evidence was created to test one's faith, and we must respond (see second paragraph). Or, dem darn liberals fixed it - we must fight them. (see second paragraph)

Either way, they'd open the phone lines up for $$ (some things never change) :eyes:

and I wouldn't have to hear him praying for USSC vacancies anymore.

On second thought, as delusional as his followers are he'd probably still be on there and just as popular. Dammit.

37. Tomorrow would go on
just like it has for the past 300 million years for most of us. There would be some plays for power, no doubt, and much of the hypocrites on the right will simply invent some new "god" to continue to hold on to their base.
