From a renter to a landlord |
|
I purchased the modest duplex I live in yesterday. The landlord gave me a good price and he installed two new energy-efficient furnaces this time last year. The other apartment is occupied by a single mom. Quite a mental change. I'll try to post on the ups and downs of being a renter vs a landlord.

I don't know about being a LANDLORD...but I'd love to own my own home! I don't think it will happen any time soon, but maybe someday!

6. Smart move and congratulations! |

being a resident landlord is great. got real lucky with my tenant, also a single mom and her sister. Just like being a regular owner but the mortgage almost pays itself!
