1. Whatever happened to Neve Campbell?
She wasn't 80's, but I rmrmber she was poised to become the biggest star in Hollywood, but her career just kinda fizzled out....

Remember Stephanie Haj? "Head of the Class?" Or Heather Lagenkamp? "Just the Ten of Us?"

2. Jennifer Runyon
The only role I can name was as Cindy in one of the Brady Bunch reunions.

But she was (is?) very dreamy, nonetheless.

3. Deborah Foreman (Valley Girl, Real Genius)

On a related note, Elizabeth Daily, who was also in Valley Girl, Better Off Dead, Pee Wee's movies and a slew of other 80's movies, is the voice of Chuckie in the Rugrats cartoon series.

She has made a HUGE career out of doing voice-overs in animation. Rugrats, Powerpuff Girls, etc.

I still remember her nude scene in Valley Girl, though. Wow!

8. Maybe she was "Chuckie" in recent series...
...but the original Chuckie was an Australian actress (forget the name) who was also the voice of Babe the pig.

4. I remember Diane Franklin....
from "The Last American Virgin", "Better Off Dead", and as one of the princesses in "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure". She did a really lousy french accent in "Better Off Dead", though...

5. Diane Franklin failed to grow into her looks, unfortunately.
And last I saw of Krystyne Hajj was in a chewing gum commercial about ten years ago. Sad.

6. Lucy Deakins used to live across the hall from me
Edited on Mon Nov-10-03 02:27 PM by soleft
She got married, had a baby and is a firefighter (or maybe a paramedic) somewhere in the western states.

9. Danica McKellar (The Wonder Years)...
...has, apparently, had quite an interesting life. After the show ended, she got a degree in "pure mathematics" (which included having one of her student research papers get published in a major academic journal), and is now writing and directing films.

10. Debralee Scott
She played "Hotsy Totsy" on Welcome Back, Kotter and was in several movies in the early 1980s.

She left acting, became an agent, married a cop. A detective, in fact.

A detective who was one of the directors of security in the World Trace Center.

Sometimes, life just throws you these little curves.

11. Isn't she the one...
who lived with Ringo for a while? or am I thinking of someone else?

I don't really remember. I'm getting too old. They say the first thing to go is your memory.
I forget what they said the second thing was.

13. More on Debralee Scott
A little bit of web hunting turned up the following stuff on the early 1980s favorite pop-culture teen tramp.
(Eat your heart out, Natasha Lyonne!)

Recent photo, probably a standard actor's portfolio shot.
Not too shabby for a fifty-year-old broad, huh?

Reigning Princess of Planet Feathered Hair.
From Match Game '80, I think. (Age 27; official DOB 4/2/1953)
If you need a Debralee Scott fix real bad, Match Game '77 (and '80) is on the Game Show Channel every evening.
She was on a couple of game shows from 1977 to 1982.

She was Cathy Shumway in the Fernwood triptych ("Mary Hartman" et seq.).

IMDB reports she's still making movies occasionally. She appears to have been "discovered" by Clint Eastwood when she was a teen.

Other Debralee Scott trivia: She's reportedly the sister of Leif Garrett and Dawn Lyn. (Impressed, are we not?)

It took me a lot longer than normal to find pictures of her. Most of the sites that appeared on Google were "nude celebrity photo" sites from France or Holland ("les photos du Debralee Scott avec fessees nuees"). Not like Britney Spears. Sweet Jesus Malone, all you have to do is launch Kazaa and you immediately get 500 pics of her. Hmmm...

Anyway, that's way more about Debralee Scott than any normal, sexually well-adjusted middle-age man should know.
