Ever see the movie "Before Sunrise"? |
|
I just got this in from Blockbuster. Caught like the last 1/2 of it a year or so ago (had never heard of it before.)
I've watched it a couple of times now and I really dig this film. It feels so....me.

;)
The girl at Blockbuster said it wasn't that good but I enjoyed the sequel. I think they hit the dialog pretty well for a situation like that.

6. I haven't seen Before Sunset, |
|
but, as far as I've been told, it's pretty good as far as sequels go. :)

4. One of my favorite movies |
|
I saw it in the theater, and couldn't wait for the video release because the freaks behind me complained how boring it was. Maybe the lack of violence really got to them.
The sequel is pretty good too, but I stand firmly behind the original.

5. I was too young when I saw it, and it pissed me off. |
|
I saw it as a free screening when I was...18 or 19...or something. It meandered along, it was just really talky, and the ending offended my sense of 'what should happen at the end of a film'. A lot.
I gave it a really bad review in my free screening feedback thing, LOL.
I'd be interested in seeing it again just to see if I feel similarly. But then, Lost in Translation reminded me of this film, and I hated that too. I do like Napoleon Dynamite, and that didn't really go anywhere either. :silly:

8. I'm not one for romantic films generally BUT |
|
I really like "Before Sunrise" and "Before Sunset." I'd love to meet a woman who I could connect with so well and have a conversation that is both very serious and very funny. Maybe someday....
I'm a big fan of all of Linklater's walking and talking movies. The other two are "Slacker" and "Waking Life" for those who may not know.

10. I saw it shortly after it came out years ago. |
|
I loved it- a smart, human romance. I have yet to see the sequel, but I really want to.
