I need some help with CSS on my new website. Also looking for people to add daily content/journals.

2. Text Color

check out the page.. I can't get the footer color to change from currently black to white..

I don't know what the code is for 'black' though.

Wrapping the copyright in <font color="#000000"> means that unless selected it'll be invisible against the equally #000000 background. This just stops it being intrusive.

Look in the theme's style.css for the #footer id. The full declaration will look something like:

#footer {
padding: 0 0 0 1px;
margin: 0 auto;
width: 760px;
clear: both;
}

If you're changing the text color to white, just add this to it:

color: #ffffff;
