1. I downloaded some of their stuff |
|
"Take Your Mama Out" is catchy but gets old after awhile, and the rest of their songs are just unlistenable.

To be as bad as the Steve Miller Band. Those guys sucked back in the 70's, they suck now, and they always will suck!

14. Steve Miller Band was great in the '60s, however |
|
"Living in the USA" is a great, great rock song. They had a bunch of good songs in their first years. Kinda like the Airplane before they also went to hell.

You should check out Darkness. They're like a train wreck. You just can't look away.

19. When they first showed up, I thought, "Oh, I'm gonna hate these fucks" |
|
but then they started playing, and, dammit, I liked them!
They reminded me of some of the reggae-inspired new wave bands that came out of San Francisco in the early 80s, with a little twist.
I hated all the jumping around bullshit, and their obsession with their "look", but I found the music to be really catchy, but in a good way, and fun to listen to.
But, I only heard the first song, so my data sample size is pretty small.
And let's face it, compared to rap, they're fucking mozarts.

After hearing mountains of hype about them, and missing a chance to see them live, I caught them on SNL and immediately offered up praises to ALL deities known in mankind's history (just as a CMA move) that I didn't spend money on a ticket for their show. BOY, did I ever dislike them.

But I love Tegan And Sara. My standard answer for worst band is Static-X.
BTW, the more I hear from Scissor Sisters, the less likely I am to buy them.
