OK, so a former classmate of mine (very Republican) just bought a hummer
for college.

How short is his penis?

Takin' all bets! (Not like I'm going to bother to check ;))

Funny, how Hummers have a dual use for Republican chickenhawks as penile implants.

Well, if he can afford to buy it, I'm sure he can still afford to fill the tank a few times.

12. My husband took
our son to college yesterday (about a two hour drive from here) and one interesting thing was that so many parents were driving huge SUVs which were too big to pull up to the dorm's "unloading zone", that they had no trouble pulling son's small car (Pontiac Sunfire) up to unload. All the big SUVs had to park half a block away.

Sometimes there is justice.

16. I'd ask to go along
any time he needs to get gas. That way you can laugh hysterically while he sobs over the price. What a fuckwit.

Speaking of Hummers though, there was a yellow one on my ass the other day...so I flipped him off. That was quite cathartic. He sped up and went around me. Not sure if it was the finger or the DU sticker that pissed him off.

21. Your former classmate is an idiot.
He could have bought a Chevy Tahoe and saved a bunch of money. I hope he's weathly, or he'll have an expensive lawn ornament. It cost me 30 bucks to fill up my tank, I can't imaagine filling up a Hummer that gets less than 10mpg.

24. I had a student whose parents bought him an Expedition
Actually, they shoved it off on the kid because they didn't want it.

The kid lives in Hoboken, NJ, a nightmare for parking.

He wanted to do a paper on vehicle options for when peak oil is reached. Well, I sort of suggested it and he was willing to do it. He had a partner on the presentation and he and the partner built models of SmartCars and figured out how much extra parking space could be gained if we all drove them. They figured out how many SmartCars could be put in an Expedition.

They did a demonstration for the class on how many SmartCars could fit in an Expedition. The entire class was in awe.

So hey, maybe this Hummer deal could turn out...depends on the teacher this kid gets.

Oh and p.s., by the end of the term, my student was trying to sell his Expedition.
