8. This was commented on in another DU thread.

Initially it worked, and made Cindy's level of support look somewhat small. But she's since moved ahead to a 42% plurality. That is GOOD for that region! It sorta blew up in their faces ... it ended up fragmenting the ANTI-Cindy vote! :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

One response to support Cindy, and THREE choices to oppose her--sounds like Diebold wrote the question, fachrissake. Come on, with that structure, anyone can figure out where the question-writer is pushing this stupid piece of online bullshit.

I'd suggest anyone from the area who is appalled by this nonsense write a LTTE and call them out on PUSH POLLING, if the slant, and there is one, is intolerable to them.

They don't want a real response, they want a validation of their editorial viewpoint. We don't really need a dozen or more threads hyping a halfassed, pre-biased poll. It is a waste of bandwidth, and there are other, better ways to support Cindy and the Gold Star Peace movement.

game. Feel free to become a volunteer moderator and combine the threads, as is the MODERATORS' job.

Two of the posts were posted at the same time and the original post was not clear on it's source so it was easy to miss. I could have deleted my post, but it became a useful discussion of Jesse Helms' historical relationship with WRAL-TV.

You're being unnessesarily abusive of other DUers (as usual) and you are using up bandwidth yourself.

18. It took me ten minutes to get my post together.

I'm on dial-up and I was doing other stuff in other windows, at the same time. Pretty much the same time since I didn't check the latest page for ten minutes before I hit the post button.

With the great increase in DU traffic and membership over the last few months and in the months to come there is going to be an increase in duplicate postings. I use the Search feature all the time. It doesn't always help.
