Six Feet Under Discussion thread: Yes, there will be spoilers
I think the writers did a fabulous job with the final episode especially the ending with Claire driving (a Prius) to New York City, listening to Ted's unhip CD mix and seeing what happens to the core group from SFU in the future (Keith, David, Ruth, Brenda, Freddie and of course herself).

It was such a satisfying ending because too many times a favorite show will end and I always wonder "I wonder what will happen to them) and unless there is some sort of crappy reunion show we never know.

But since Six Feet Under was about death the ended the show with the best way they know how - how each of the remaining 6 core characters die in the future.

I bawled for like 20 minutes after the show was overwith the ending was so amazing. Hell tears are welling up in my eyes just thinking about it!

1. I kept waiting
During the present-time portions of the episode, for Billy to go batshit crazy and kill either Claire, Ted, Brenda or the new baby. When Brenda woke up in her dream because Willa was so quiet -- I was convinced Billy was going to be there with a kitchen knife.

2. I loved the tee-shirt that billy was wearing when he answered the door
"what would Jesus bomb"

When Claire was talking to Oliver you could see Billy & Ted talking in the background. I kept expecting them to break out in some major fight over politics or Claire

3. I cried at the ending as well
my 8 year old came upstairs and asked me why I was so sad, then he saw the part where David and Keith were getting married and kissed, and said ewww, I was laughing telling him how happy I was they got married. I really liked the ending, but it did make me feel sad, that was such a good program and I was sorry to see it end.
